A Huge Jump...

WOW! What a huge jump in our donations! We are now just under the $13,000 mark and we cannot say thank you enough to all of our donors. This is AK writing and it is officially my first entry. Jeff is super busy studying for his Masters exam so I offerred to take over the job of updating the site tonight. All of my fingers and toes are crossed for his exam on Monday!

Tonight I went to an REI clinic called "America at Twelve Miles an Hour" presented by Phil and Merj Shrout. They toured across the country in 2002 and Phil wrote a book (same title) about the adventures they had. The session was funny and informative - a good salve for the nerves that have been building up in me lately.
